Debra is also a contributor to iStock by Getty Images. In addition, she accepts custom orders and commissions for pet and home watercolor portraits.

My Mom was in the early stages of Alzheimer's. She had begun a painting of a kangaroo but was losing her dexterity, and she said, "Deb, you finish this" and handed me the brush. That marked the beginning of what has now become a passion and career.
